From the opening kickoff to the final whistle the MiraCosta women's soccer team dominated Cuyamaca College. A final score of 10-0 only begins to tell the story of how the Spartans played on Tuesday. The offensive attack was relentless finishing with 38 shots, 15 shots on goal and 10 goals.
Goals were scored by Raigan Jager (2), Shelby Maldonado (2), Maki Schwalbe, Charley Diaz, Heidi Alarcon, Joey Frease, Madison White, and Jade Valentine.
Sophomore goalkeeper Arely Sarabia played all 90 minutes, but with little action.
With the win MiraCosta improves to 1-0 in conference play. The Spartans are next in action on Friday at home versus Miramar College for a 2pm kickoff.
