The MiraCosta women's soccer program is on fire, and they are going to be hard to slow down. On Friday, the Spartans traveled to San Diego City College and left with a convincing 8-0 win.
Sophomore Roselyn Hernandez finished with a hattrick, bringing her season total to six. Other goals were scored by Aleah Minnich, Jazmyne Arispe, Lena Bachman, Elisa Dunn, and Cielo Mendez. The Spartans finished with an impressive twenty-four shots on goal and only allowed two shots on goal over the ninety minute match.
Freshman goalkeeper Arely Sarabia played all ninety minutes and finished with a shut-out and two saves.
