After a very tough non-conference schedule the MiraCosta men's soccer team is hitting its stride. In conference play they are undefeated, (1-0-2) with their first three matches against some of the top teams in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. On Friday MiraCosta took on San Diego City College and earned a 0-0 result despite having seven shots on goal. Sophomores Cheyne Hausmaninger and Yan Guimaraes Pereira De Moraes were supported by freshmen Eddie Franco and Julio Sanchez in putting pressure on the Knights defense.
The Spartans have a big week hosting Imperial Valley College (Wednesday at 4pm) and Cuyamaca College (Friday at 1:30pm). Friday's game will be a double-header with the women's team playing at 4pm.
