Morales Heats Up, Spartans Win Two at LA Pierce Tournament

The MiraCosta women's basketball team travelled to LA Pierce to play two games over the weekend. In the first game the Spartans ran away from Oxnard College by a final score of 92-57. Scoring came from numerous players including Teya Searles (21 points), Breanna Morales (20 points) and Britney Jarvis (19 points). Victoria Wilson also added fifteen points off the bench for MiraCosta. Nine total players scored for the Spartans during the game. Also
The second night Morales was still hot, scoring 19 points including two three point shots. Along side Morales, Searles (21 points) and Jarvis (14 points) contributed as expected in the 75-51 win over Skagit Valley College.
MiraCosta improves their record to 5-2 heading into their next game against Rio Hondo College on Saturday, December 2nd at 5PM. Saturday's game will be at MiraCosta College's Oceanside campus in the gym.
