With just one loss in their last 12 matches, the MiraCosta men's soccer team has proven hard to beat. On Tuesday night at Southwestern College, the story was no different. The Jaguars got on the scoreboard first with a goal in teh 15th minute, but they were quickly answered in the 22nd minute when Domink Wiks scored his team leading sixth goal of the year.
From that point it was a fairly even game until Silas Tackaberry scored the game winning goal in the 86th minute. Tackaberry was assisted by sophomore midfielder Danny Barbosa.
With the win, the Spartans improve to 5-2-6 overall and 4-1-1 in conference play.
