Spartans Earn All Conference Honors

After a successful season where the MiraCosta men's soccer team finished 9-5-6, several Spartans earned honors from the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.  Leading the way was sophomore goalkeeper Seth Ketterer, being named Goalkeeper of the Year.  Ketterer was one of the top goalkeepers in the state and was a force of nature that discouraged many opponents. Other all-conference honors were bestowed on Manuell Kariuki, Pedro Mercado and Cole Simes.  Kariuki is a sophomore defender that was the anchor to the Spartan defense. Mercado and Simes both steadied the team and helped keep possession of the ball for MiraCosta in the midfield.

The Spartan men's soccer team finished 17th in the state RPI.
