Spartans Come Up Short Against Harbor
Despite scoring the first goal of the game and taking a 2-1 lead, the Spartans couldn't hold on for the win.
Despite scoring the first goal of the game and taking a 2-1 lead, the Spartans couldn't hold on for the win. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the visiting LA Harbor College Seahawks. MiraCosta's goals were scored by Miguel Aguilera (San Marcos High School) and Julio Sanchez (San Dieguito Academy).
The Spartans led 1-0 and then again at 2-1 but gave up two more goals to drop their overall record to 0-2-1 through three games.
The MiraCosta men's soccer team will take the road for their next three games travelling to Santiago Canyon (Sept 9th), San Diego Mesa (Sept 13th) and East LA College (Sept 16th).
