Surf Club Finishes Fourth In Nation

Another successful season for the MiraCosta Surf Club has landed them a fourth place finish in the the nation.  The national championship contest was held at Dana Point California on June 15-17 and had good surfing conditions. After the three day contest the Spartans finished in fourth place behind Cal State San Marcos (national champions), Florida Institue of Technology, and Point Loma Nazarene University. 

In eighteen years of competition the MiraCosta Surf Club has finished top three in the nation ten times, including three national championships, four national runner-ups, and three third place finishes.
